| San Francisco is one of the country’s most cosmopolitan cities known for cool summers, fog, steep rolling hills, eclectic mix of architecture, and landmarks including the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, the former Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary, Fisherman’s Wharf, and its Chinatown district which is the largest outside of Asia as well as the oldest Chinatown in North America. The City is home to world-class theatre, opera, symphony and ballet companies and boasts premieres of Broadway-bound plays and culture-changing performing arts. Los Angeles is the center of the nation’s film and television industry. Near its iconic Hollywood sign, studios such as Paramount Pictures, Universal and Warner Brothers offer behind-the-scenes tours.
