Deposits and Payment

Introductory Fares are guaranteed and departure dates confirmed for a refundable deposit equal to 1%
of the per person Fare. The deposit is increased to $350 per person 120 days before departure dates.
Payment in full is required prior to 90 days before departure.

Deposits and full payments are held in trust until the respective departure date, as required to provide and
pay respective Journey by Rail costs; and/ to pay requested refunds, pursuant to the Terms and Conditions

Confirmed passengers are notified of any such change as soon as possible and have the right to accept them or receive a full refund.

Amtrak: Itineraries, schedules and rail Car movements and use are subject to Amtrak operating conditions, restrictions and changes.

Journeys include, as described below: Deluxe accommodations – Meals and beverages – Passenger services – Access to things to do at en-route destinations.

Journeys do not include: Travel insurance – Gratuities, which are optional and not necessary.

Private Car: Exclusive, Private Car Journeys by Rail for up to 6 passengers may be available; traveling with a Train Set.

Some Optional Services:
– Preferred special brand beverages, if requested at least 14 days before departure; there may be a surcharge.
– Predetermined, special dietary menus, if requested at least 14 days before departure; there may be a surcharge.
