Depending on Journey by Rail objectives and passenger needs, a dining and lounge Car may include a couple of bedrooms.

Based on a specific Journey by Rail objectives and passenger interests, dining and lounge area seating arrangements can be changed. In a typical Train Set meals and drinks are served in a dining car that has a separate bar and lounge, although more casual service is available in public areas throughout the Train, including 24 hour room service.

Dining and lounge cars are designed to provide optimum comfort and a luxurious ambience. After refurbishing is completed, dining and lounge car quality and decor on all America's Trains will be equivalent to the model shown to the right.
